Thanks for the help so far...$127 for powered engines seems a little expensive for very little detailing..guess I.m expecting too much....Dummy locos for $99 ?....the cars seem like a good price....BUT, the whole train would look SO GOOD on a shelf under the actual "Super Chief" items......I can't help it ,looks like they have a sale....
THANKS for the input....

Let's see:
2 powered loco's for $254.98 (or about $127 each)
2 Dummy Loco's for $199.98 ( 99.99 each)
6 cars for $39.98 each
1 car for $49.98
1 car for $44.98
Overall they are compareable to individual ones. so yea this would be a good deal.

Hello,
I work for BNSF as a conductor and am a long time Santa Fe fan,I collect items relating to the "Super Chief", but am new to Model Railroading.........
Is the new "Super Chief" complete train model being advertised in the Walthers catalogue worth more than $800 it adds up to........I would love to have a model of the entire train in conjunction with the "real" items I have collected.....$800 seem to be a lot ....Your input would be apperciated......
