SRen,

According to the B&O Modeler Nov/Dec 2005 issue, the Sentinel Service paint scheme was implemented from 1947 to 1958. Some of the cars were not repainted until sometime in the mid 1960's. For more information checkout the following:

Does anyone out there know when the B&O dropped their Sentinel Fast Freight Service?  When were the last of the distinctive blue and silver box cars painted for this service repainted into standard box car brown?  Did any of these cars make it into the late 1960s still in the silver and blue paint scheme?
