Best railroad design software for Macintosh

Another vote for RailModeller. It's a very nice package that has an active user community and it's easy to contact the developer if you have a problem.

Haven't turned off, or rebooted my mac, for other than software installs and my relocation in over seven years...

For the sake of options Rail Modeller http://www.railmodeller.com/ is another good choice, and the one i'm currently using. Actually i would really like to merge features of both.

Both offer downloadable demo's from their sites, and are comparably priced, so i don't think you could go wrong with either.

Thanks to both of you. I had one of the first 512K Macs back in the early 1980's. I loved it but I was forced to switch to PC's due to work. Setting up a PC is always a 4 hour job and something always doesn't work. I bought this iMac yesterday and plugged it in. Everything worked immediately. It even found the wireless network on its own. Amazing. I'll check out this software. Thanks again. - Nevin

I've been a Mac user for may years and I'm glad I made the switch. I also use the Empire Express software, and it does a wonderful job. And it's very inexpensive. Good luck.
