Haven't turned off, or rebooted my mac, for other than software installs and my relocation in over seven years...
For the sake of options Rail Modeller http://www.railmodeller.com/ is another good choice, and the one i'm currently using. Actually i would really like to merge features of both.
Both offer downloadable demo's from their sites, and are comparably priced, so i don't think you could go wrong with either.
