FOR HOW BIG A ROOM ???

A shelf layout is not hard to create on your own.
MRR has covered shelf designs for all types of room
sizes. Get a book about building benchwork and try
to use those techniques to put yours together.
A shelf is usually about 2' deep average around a room,
this works well and can be varied to meet your needs.
Somebody may be able to get a website for you but I
recommend using published plans.

Atlas has three. One is an L shaped and the other two are made for like 18" inch shelvs. They are HO scale. YOu will need their plan books #2 "Ho Layouts For Every Space: and #3 "Seven Step By Step HO Railroads" Having looked at these plans thoughly, You can add them end to end quite easily for a more complicated layout if desired.

Their really is nothing to making them. I just used 1x6 around the top of my room when I got tired of scenery. I did add some curves to the corners in order to accomidate the radius. I can fit two tracks, but the outside one is the only one that can really be seen. The biggest drawback is dust however.

You could try http://carendt.com/microplans/index.html. There are several shelf layouts there to check out.

Must be getting tired...

..had visions of Shelfs on wheels running around on model RR track.

Must have been after seeing the Kato N scale power unit at N Scale Supply, and
wondering what I could use for covering the outside. Perhaps a PE car!

I am doing the same thing. I used the wildcat central plan. I modified to suit me needs and likes.[:)]
