I can't say that I know what the matter is, but the jig has dimensions that do not necessarily correlate to the finished product.  Say a jig in N scale for a #8 is 7" long.  You may or may not cut your stock rails and frog rails so that they only meet the limits of the jig...you may make them longer.  These are not manufactured turnouts that have a defined length as Customline ones will.  So, my guess, entirely uneducated, is that you will have to set the parameters yourself.  Pick a length, ...in fact use Atlas or Kato or whatever as a template, because you always trim the Fast Tracks turnout rails when placing them, anyway.  I did.

Fast Tracks jig dimensions for Cadrail

Hi all,

I'm trying to make copies of some Fast Tracks jigs for Cadrail8. The jigs I'm looking for are for the N scale code 55 curved turnouts. I cannot seem to get the dimensions exactly right. I've printed out the templates for these turnouts off the Fast Tracks site, but I still can't get them to line up right. Does anyone have any tips for doing this? Or better yet, does anyone have some copies already made up that I can use? Thanks in advance.
