Cyril Freezer in MR

As a modeller whose done years of modelling British outline 'OO', and only recently entered the American HO scene, it was a nice surprise to see a letter from the great Cyril (Squirrel) Freezer in December's MR.

Cyril has been, and still is, one of the biggest influences on the British modelling scene for more than 50 years, and is a past editor of Railway Modeller - the UK counterpart to MR.

I was honoured to meet him last Easter at York exhibition in England, and he had many constructive comments about my Winter layout, which was on show.
