since i'm just starting i'd like to have a Athearn or Atlas Burlington Route Power of the Zephyr" GP9 or GP7. i can't find any of them anywhere. also i'd like to get a CSX, CN, or CP locomotive. i can't find any of them at the shows i've been to. all GPs mainly maybe a SD here or there.

not like what some others may post but i'm just starting so i want stuff i can use.

Considering that I live just to the north of the East Syracuse / Minoa, NY (DeWitt) Yards, along with the fact that my street has a siding to the New Venture Gear on one side of it, I'd like Conrail and/or CSX GP's for a switching layout I've just started.

Hunter - When we met in January of 2000, you were just a 6 week old pup who walked his way into this heart of mine as the only runt in the litter who would come over to me. And today, I sit here and tell you I am sorry we had to put you down. It was the best thing for you and also the right thing to do. May you now rest in peace and comfort. Love, Dad. 8 June 2010

I love you and miss you Mom. Say hi to everyone up there for me. Rest in peace and comfort. Love, John. 29 March 2017

Some of the earlier E-Units would be nice to see in model form - how about a RTR E3? These were bought by more than one road, and would surely have some commercial potential. Examples of the E2/E4/E5 would also be nice, but as these were "one-off" builds for specific roads it's unlikely that they'll be produced

For me I would love to have a set of brass SD70MAC's in BN"s heritage scheme. I finally got a Kato in that scheme but since I'll never be able to afford brass engines that would be what I want.

As for the Victoria models I won't be choosey, any of them will do.

A coal-burning KCS 2-10-4, in Proto:48, although I'd settle for one in N scale.

How about MILW Skytop Lounge? And the rest of the train...

I'd settle for the 5900-01. Big, huge, modern doodlebug. 1000 hp EMD in a 85' carbody, rounded nose, shoulda had 4 traction motors, only had 2. Used on the Berlin Bullet until 1958. And in Minnesota.

My layout space will most likley be small, so I concentrate on smaller stuff.

To be perfectly honest I think I'd prefer a 1:1 scale, anatomically correct model of Pamela Anderson. Oh, you mean trains! Well, a few SD-40-2 units, perhaps an SD70 or two......this list is endless.

Cool[:D]! Do you model the UP too?![?][:)][^] My other choice would be a Bachman (or is it Spectrum?) 2-6-2 UP Prarie. Would also love to have a Spectrum UP 0-6-0 switcher.[^]

N scale
1. A string of 4 or more Pacific Electric streamlined red trolleys
2. A RS1 RS2 or RS3 in Black Widow SP paint or 1953 ATSF for my LA area layout
3. Decent Kato ATSF & SP in 1955 Freight paint F7A/B about 4 sets each.
4. A string of Los Angeles area Blue line cars from late 80's early 90's.
5. a couple more sets of ATSF E8A/B from Kato.
6. Some nice PCC cars in N scale with wheels that don't fall off.
7. The Japanese Bullet Train that ran in 1979-1981 and some other neat Japanese trains I didn't buy but missed out on.
8. Set of San Diego Red Trolleys
9. A quiet GP9 in SP Black Widow (my Atlas is bloody nose and noisy)
10. SD40 set of 2 or 4 in SP colors
11. a SP set of the GP20 that replaced the F7A/B
12. Some nice multistory buildings that represent the 4-5 story buildings of the garment district or other LA downtown buildings, such as the Sears building in East LA that housed the catalog operations where my trains/track came from in 55-59.
13. A Market Basket, Shopping Bag or Safeway store from the 50's along foothill or valley Blvd.
14. Western single story houses like in old Riverside, Santa Monica, Long Beach, Paramount, Southgate, Arcadia, Monrovia, Ontario, and the old style california farmhouses. A Stucco Spanish style house like was in Pico Riveria, Pasadena, Hollywood areas. Just not enough single story houses, looking forward to the Atlas N scale! Western Tract homes with stucco, and colored gravel & rocks on the roofs.
15. A Winery kit like near Ontario along Mission, Foothill and not far from UP or SP tracks, along with plenty of vines loaded with leaves, grapes.
16. Streamlined steam loco like the one on the Night Train bottle label. :)
17. More model cars from 41-67 and some Carnation milk trucks.
18. SP piggyback trailers from 50s.
19. A herd of Herfords for the feedlot and a real meat packing building from East LA.
20. 50's era autoracks
