My favorite was the guy who pressurized his basement so he could remove one of the support columns.

I had no problem with this years joke, but then I'm a pretty easy laugh. As soon as I saw the picture I thought "oh yeah, it's the April issue isn't it."

I think my favorite foolery was the No-Trak Modules story on the modular club modeling old rights of way turned into bike trails.

The 5-DCC controller was good.  Anybody remember the Undecorated RR?  1977 I believe.  There was also the one with the full-size Kadee couplers, with magnets.

I don't understand the complaints. I didn't know anyone took it that serious.

I didn't know any of those were jokes before, and I believed every single one. Even the layout on the ceiling.

Im not going to say much on what was the actual joke, but the article on building a gateway to you hotwater tank was pretty stupid, real or fake...

I liked modeling railroads on the moon that was done back in the 70's.

The main part was not even convincing for a second. I didn't see the full size car though, but I never really read the new items section or the product reviews.

My favorite was the Tube Modelers.

I am not going to blow it for those that haven't seen it, but I think this year is the weakest one since they listed the full size railcar in the model reviews.  Actually, I think it is worse.  The best ones have been clever, like the layout on the ceiling and the "universal" decoder requiring no electronics.

 Anyone else?
