Customizing Loco Question
Posted by Dough on Friday, November 21, 2003 11:03 PM
I am still looking for a relatively easy model to get started on. Does anybody know if anyone makes a Chessie GP9 that looks like this one?

I would like to change the road numbers and also give weathering a try, but I don't know that I'm quite up to painting an entire engine from scratch. One day I would like to model all of the engines on this shortline, but I figured that this one would be a good place to start. Plus, its a Chessy still in use!

Proto-2000 would be your best starting point. However, I an not sure if they offered Chessie as an option. If you don;t feel up to the challenge. I run a custom paint shop and would be more than happy to paint one up for you.
