Yesterday the Fairmont, Morgantown and Pittsburgh division of the B&O had it last operations session. About 9 fellow model railroaders participated with about a total of 14 trains run in the 3 hour session. 2 passenger trains, 2 locals, and one M&K turn. A number of coal drags were seen. Overall this model railroad functioned as it was designed and I think eveyrone had a good time. A bunch of photographs were taken. I'll try to post a few when I get them. It was a good layout but it is about to be history. :(
After the session ended, the buildings were either sold off or donated to the our model railroad club many of the cars and a few engines were sold. Soon, significant amounts of B&O and Western Maryland HO equipment will be showing up on ebay as funds will be needed to build the V&T or LV&T. - Nevin
