I have an Athearn HO SP GP38-2. I would like to add a snow plow to the front but have no idea on what kind, which maker and where to get one. Can anyone help me?

Try a SP website that has fotos. Also try a good train shop they have books to help you with. Companies that make these parts are cannon, detail associates, and details west. rambo1.......

Try here: http://www.miniaturesbyeric.com/
I believe most parts are white metal castings. I have only used a few, and not for what they were intended (loco lights in a kitbash). Fine detail, little flash, not much cleanup required.
