saw the post on chicago hobby stores and realized i'll be in KC next week. may only have enough time to visit 1 store. i've been to Halls and some place in the plaza (lionel stuff) i'm look'n for n-scale.

I recommend Doc's Caboose. He's the newest hobby store in the KC area and has a good selection of N scale. If you're familiar with the KC area, Doc's Caboose is located in the historic West bottoms next to a busy UP mainline. His phone number is 816-471-7114, and the website is www.docscaboose.com

Also, Doc is having a grand re-opening sale November 15-23 2003.

i see that Doc's is in the retail directory of Model Railroader. with a little luck i should be able to check it out next week. that word Sale! always works for me.
