Tonight should be the final night of work on the road expansion. I have to lay down plaster cloth in the middle section of the crossing, and I hope to paint railroad crossing warnings on the road in the near future. After the new section of road is complete, I hope to rip up the old yard track and fix the scenery and roadbed under and around it. I think I am going to go with a new trackbed ballast that is finer than what I am currently working with.

Railroad Restoration Update

I officially started yesterday, and I started by replacing scale roadway. What I replaced was a road construction area (basically a sand road) with the actual roadway. I had to scrape up the sand and sweep the area, I will hopefully have pics tomorrow. So far i've just got a small section done, hope to have more tonight.
