Switching to all Micro-trains couplers usually solves the problems with accumates uncoupling, I run my kato coupler equipment fine with micro-trains cars, its when I connect with accumates I have problems. If I try running two Atlas Loco's together with accumate couplers, I have disconnect problems. The newer accumates seem to be somewhat better than the initial production runs which were pretty bad.,but Micro-trains couplers are far superior, plus I like the fact they are made in the USA.

Hi everyone,
I keep having uncoupling problems beetween my SD70mac from Kato and my atlas coalveyor train...
the couplers aren't at the same height....
Would MT couplers resolve the problem knowing that I use the long couplers for the loco and my smallest radii is about 10 inches short....
thank you for any help...
