Color problem--Allegheny Railroad

I have an undecorated GP-35 that I'm going to turn into this.

 

I'm good at matching colors, but the colors I see for the Allegheny RR in pictures go all the way from faded Levis to bluish-purple. Anyone have a color for the base color.  Here's another shot.
