My friend has his CNR Rapido cars at the club layout last week. They are VERY nice cars indeed.

 msowsun,

INDEED they are. Photos aren't bad either. Thumbs Up [tup]Thumbs Up [tup]

The "bar" keeps getting higher. With all the choices now available for excellent non-brass passenger cars everyone's going to have to expand their layouts. Those long cars eat up space. Of course this observation is from someone who feels the only really good box car is 40 feet long-ok, I slip in an occasional 50 footer.

Informative post, keep the photos coming(they are good!). Smile,Wink, & Grin [swg]

Beautiful!

My LHS's owner told me that although these are based on Canadian prototypes, some of them are very similar to cars used on U.S roads, including the RF&P.  I definetly would like a couple.

There was another thread on the Rapido cars with photos of an undec unit.  Didn't look very impressive, but what a difference in appearance a painted body makes.Big Smile [:D]Thumbs Up [tup]
