Last week's Menard's newspaper ad said they will sell Homasote at $14.99 a sheet,some stores may have to special order it.

The Menards around here also sell 2x4 sheets, (easier to handle)

Yes, I saw their ad also. For the last 6-7 months since I got started in this hobby, I thought that homasote was just a made-up word!! At last, it's someplace where I can get it!!

Well, we have no Menard's in this area. The best source of Homasote in Kansas City is/was Shute Lumber which was torched by an arsonist a few weeks back. They are back open, operating out of tents and plan to rebuild.

Most of the suppliers (Home Depot, etc) don't seem to carry it. Of course you can always order Home A Bed and not have to cut it.
