Why not just use a separate Gmail account for the YouTube e-mail address? Then don't use it again. I have some videos on YouTube and haven't received any spam from it. It could also be in the key words you use to describe the videos.

On Youtube.com I kept several HO scale videos under the "CounterHeavy" account. I have enjoyed good reactions and it was a positive experience.
Recently Spammers started to send messages via my Youtube account peddling sexual or other unacceptable material.
In response, I pernamently closed the account and removed the videos from that site, however some of the videos will probably float around the internet for a long time.
I do have plans for a small web server and host a basic site for videos and other Model Railroad related material in the future.
Spammers have won this round, but they will not win the war.
