Has anybody ever been in a hobby shop that had an ATCS monitor in the store where the patrons could see it? If you have been to such a place, did it add to the experience of shopping there?
I have read from time to time about getting people into hobby shops as opposed to shopping on line. It seems to me that a train store that is located close to a CTC dispatched mainline ( I know of two where I live) that installed an ATCS monitor set-up for that line, would draw railfans, and therefore patrons, like a magnet. The display could be projected on an overhead screen. Does anybody have any practical experience with this?
