Pennsy N scale depot kitbashing possibility
Posted by Dave Vollmer on Friday, December 1, 2006 12:40 PM

Thought I'd share this.  I saw the new N scale Walthers Santa Fe style station in the January MR, and thought "Wow, that looks familiar..."

Looks like it might be a great stand-in or starting point for a kitbash of the Mifflin, PA station on the PRR Middle Division:

Put some red/yellow keystone signs on it, change the roof to a hip roof, and leave off the freight building.  Add some of the new Atlas hairpin fencing, and boom!

Something similar may be possible in HO, although I seem to remember that it's stucco instead.

Modeling the Rio Grande Southern First District circa 1938-1946 in HOn3.
