It's MR time again!!!

The weather stinks and I just had some surgery done so it's time to put away the golf clubs and get back to working on the railroad. This happens every year but circumstances have moved the transition up by several weeks. I spent the first few days of my recuperation reading the latest magazines and the juices are getting going again. I also got an inspired scenery idea for a problem area on my layout and I am anxious to work out the specifics. Several unfinished projects remain from last spring and those should help me get going. The mainline has been operational since early last winter but it is largely still unscenicked. The goal for this winter is to at least get some base scenery down over the entire line and get a good start on my main passenger terminal and large downtown area. Also need to add sound to several locos that are already DCC equipped as well as trying to tackle a DCC conversion of some 1980 era equipment. Should be enough to keep me busy until next spring when the golf clubs will come out of the closet again.
