athearn loco lighting kits

Does your loco sound different then before are not if so you might have wires rubbing the fly wheel on the loco.

i got a light kit from creative railway engineering that installs in athearn six axle loco
it has fow and rev lights and strobe i installed it correctly but the loco now runs much slower
wheels and track clean. i am using mrc command control (loco in question does not have dcc) is this affecting operation why does loco run slower?
