You may also be able to find photos of Raton from two websites. Russell Crump's www.atsfrr.com has a lot of 1920 era official valuation pictures of many many railroad properties on the Santa Fe.

The Santa Fe Rwy Historical and Modeling Society site, www.atsfrr.org has LINKS to bunches of Santa Fe sites including depot sites.
I'm not sure I gave those URLs exactly right. If not, you oughta be able to find them through a search engine. Happy railroading.

You probably already have, but did you try the local historical society via the Internet? I don't know if there is actually one, but I bet google could tell you.

To anyone who can help?
I`m trying to locate colour photo`s of Raton`s historic area near the railway station, 1st St and 2nd St area. I am trying to emulate David Haines Raton Pass layout, which I think was one of the greatest in N scale ever!

I was wondering if you could point me to a source of Raton photo`s ? Living in New Zealand it is hard to get a lot of US rail info easily.
