Got there about 11:00 today and left just before Tom got there. I agree that it was a nice show. I went to the Dupage Fairgrounds show in Wheaton last month and this show was definetly better. I picked up a 5 unit Well car set for 10% off, some Boley dump trucks at 50% off and finally joined the NMRA at $18 off the normal price. I passed on two Atlas Dash 8s with DCC and sound (a first for me). There was a nice crowd and it appeared a lot of folks were buying as well as looking. It was the best show I've been at for finding less mainstream landscaping stuff. I picked up lots of things like dumpsters, wooden crates, barrels etc. I consider those finishing touch items for a scene.

LHS mechanic and geniune train and antique garden tractor nut case!
I drove up from Pittsburgh and got there a around noon. An easy drive too. I thought it was a pretty good train show, especially the club layouts. Some very nice work there. Also picked up a couple of items at a decent price. I'll be back next year.

My wife will be in tow also. Is it worth bringing my camera for any pictures of the layouts ?
tstage,
I will also be there, along with five other guys from the ORNRy bunch out of Steubenville, OH. Don't tell anyone, but I'll have my WVU shell on. Go Mounties and go Buckeyes!

I will be there on Sunday. It' a great show. I will also head over to Depot St. to eat lunch and watch a few real trains. Rich
Perhaps I'll be able to make this as well...
(I hope I don't get too much homework....)
does anyone know what it costs to get in?
Thanks for posting information on this show. I think my wife and I will take a ride up there on Saturday. It should only take about 2 and a half hours to get there from Pittsburgh and looks easy to find. Nice time of year to enjoy the scenery too.

Thanks for the heads-up. I forgot about the show altogether. I'll be going if I can pry a few hours loose on Saturday. I might even take my grandson along.
Thanks again.
Remember its your railroad
