Jeff, I think I am using the right slang for Proto wheels.
Driline I wish you did have them but I have won 1 for $4.99 and 5 40 foot gondolas. (spell check) Loacl seller so no shipping cost.

Before I get any Cabosse from Mr Gibson I like the old Tyco Dutch Cleaner covered hoppers. I have 2 so far and like to get up to around 10 of them.
I have up graded mine with Kadee's cupler boxes and #5's and PK wheels and must say I like them alot. Yes, I am try E-Stupid as well and hope to win a few in the next 5 days.

I still have my first HO set, the Tyco Chattanooga Diesel set from the late 70s. The engine is long gone but I have the cars. One of them was this hopper. I replaced the trucks with Athearn’s / KD’s and it runs very well. Sorry, I do not want to get rid of it. It reminds me of just how far I have come.
I would look at some area train shows, I see lots of old Tyco for sale at the ones I attend.
Sounds like your having a great time, that is all that matters.
