Looking at some prototype photos, it appears that BNSF did change the letter styles just a bit. I couldn't find 8258 in the Heritage II scheme but I did find 8213. Also linked is 8225 in the slightly different lettering.

I know my old Kato heritage schemes had the green lettering, but if I remember right they changed to the bordered yellow in their third generation run.
