The kit is not specific for the SD40-2, it works with any GP/SD 28,35,38,38-2,39,39-2,40,40-2,45, 45-2 and 50 - not all of these were built with high short hoods.

I've been looking around for awhile for a Cannon and company Sd40-2 High Hood Kit and I can't find one anywhere. I checked Walthers catalog, and tried googling it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
