Yes, I did. Sorry for not replying. I'll try to dig them out this weekend.

it's probably unwise to post your full name and address on this or any on-line forum.

I'd suggest that you edit your post and maybe dekruif could too.

Thanks and I am looking forward to the trucks. I have learned a lot from you and others from this site. Can say I have been very happy with the way the board is running. Up to around 140 hours with no majior derails. Funny looking back that around 3 weeks ago I was ready to give up and sell the stuff.

If the Mods I am making to the cheap trucks keep working well I will post some PIC. Now pulling 32 cars with out a hitch.

Cudaken,

Be aware that many Tyco HO freight car trucks have wide, oversized journal boxes that don't look very realistic. I had a number of them that I tossed out.

Some of the trucks from other brands to have good potential.

If you are a little like me, I am sure you don't throw much away rather it be 1:1 cars or MRR stuff.

I bought a lot of the cheap stuff before I knew I was buying junk. Then I started up grading the junk cars and have had some luck at it. Tuned the trucks, up grade to metal axles, some cases PK 2 wheels, cutting off stock couplers boxes and adding Kaddee boxes and number 5's.

Allso been playing with ways to added a nother set of pivot point to make more stable for the push pin mouting points.. So far the 5 worked cars are in the front of a 25 car train going up a 2% grade and working well for 4 hours.

But then there are the trucks I messed up. Open the trucks to much, made a second center in the boster section so there are 2 mounting points. Some for reason do not roll well, some I will add roll as well as my Athearn with PK 2000 wheels.

Just wondering if some one out there has a stack of trucks sitting along the side of there board for details they would not miss. I would be happy to pay shipping.

Soo far I have worked over around 50 of my 107 rolling stock and pretty happy. Only around 25 are Athearn so far.

Anyone have trucks for Riverossie pasanger cars? Still working on them. No wonder they where the first of the Axes powers to give up.
