Read my comments over on the "Layouts and layout building" forum. 

As far as panels are concerned.  You can still daisy-chain power panels around your layout for use with any extra throttles you might have/want to use.  The Power Cab will still have to be plugged in, however. 

I do wish NCE would update their SmartBooster info to reflect when they expect it to be released, as well as what and how it will be connected to the layout.  Maybe Larry @ NCE would give you that info if you either call or e-mail him directly.

Anybody have info on this? I would like to expand my powercab and install two more panels.
