I have not tried that, but will. If you page through old mags, you will see pics of this. I have been watching Joy of Painting on Channel 2 and Bob Ross does that on ocassion. The O gauge club at Bandana Square has old Mags for sale for 50 cents and you can page through them befor you buy. You should find some good examples .

Also welcome to the forum. What is your scale?

If you think you have it right, your standards are too low. my photos http://s12.photobucket.com/albums/a235/ARTHILL/ Art

Roads and Backdrops
Posted by Anonymous on Monday, July 31, 2006 9:21 PM
The conventional wisdom is that roads should run into backdrops on an angle, right? In my case, that would mean that the viewer's sight line would follow the angle, running right into the backdrop. I wouldn't be able to use trees to hide the point of intersection. Would it make sense to run the road straight into the backdrop in this case? Does anyone else have any clever solutions? It may be tough to visualize, but have people done for the road/backdrop intersection?

Thanks,

Tim in MN
