Welcome to the 80's everyone!

Sorry, I thought you had been around long enough to know by now that, as others have mentioned, if you have a question specifically for me that it's best to e-mail me directly. I wasn't ignoring your question; I just didn't see it.

I sign up on photobucket and was able to post pictures the first time!! All I did was copied and paste the bottom img tag line.

Matthew, it was possible to post pics without directly adding the tags in the "regular reply" window by, as mentioned, highlighting the link and clicking an image button. However, if you were using the "Quick Reply" box found at the bottom of a topic in the old forum, you had to type in the [ img ] [ /img ] tags.

In regards to this issue, I would think that the time to type in the tags cannot be significantly more than the time to highlight the link and click the image button (Or maybe the other little one to the left...oops), but that's just my two cents.

This forum has it's ups and downs, but sooner or later we'll all get used to it.

If you want Bergie to answer you, try emailing him directly.  In my experience, he has answered me and solved problems in a very timely manner.

I upload pics on another website, but those images are only tagged with the http.--- yadayada---.jpg

When I copy from there and paste here they do not have the img brackets....thats where the old forum made posting so easy, I just highlighted my pic and hit the image icon, all this as I was composing the message. I dont see any way to do similar here.

Bergie-How do we post pictures now?

Someone explain to me how to post a picture without having to hand-type all the [img ] [ /img] to every single picture I would like to add...

Theres a few things going on here that to me - so far..seam like a big step down in service. Namely the lack of a one-click Image icon in the menu like the old forum had. That made posting pics very simple. If I have to type those stupid codes each time then I'm going to have to rethink how much I wish to share here as I absolutely hate having to remember to type in code like it was 1985 on an IBM 386 with DOS. Also the smileys are messed up, so I doubt they'll be used much till thats fixed....

Someone please show me that I'm just missing something here.....

   Have fun with your trains
