Here's a www.hallmark.com idea.

Their gift/card shop sells keepsake ornaments, a 1/1/4" 1948 Panhead Harley-Davidson for $8.00

On their home page, click on "Keepsake Ornament"
Shop 2003 Keepsakes , Click on Minatures , page one and scroll down to the Motorcycles.
Metal/finished/painted for $8.00 I have three. and added a sitting person to the seat.

Hello again Sagramor, One site you may want to visit is Custom Finishes by Bob Rzasa. The URL is:
<http://1-87vehicles.org/directory/custom_finishing.php>. He'll send you a catalogue page in return for a SASE. In addition to a motorcycle, his line also includes kits for track repair equipment. A German site that has some motorcycles can be found at:
<http://www.bigboystoys-net.de/index2.html> Don't have enough German to figure out if they accept orders and payment from America. Hope this helps you and some other folks. Bob

After being invaded last week by over 150,000 bikes, I also have been thinking about this idea! I saw an 100 year H-D anniversary set (Walthers) at a H-D dealer.....but it was almost $200. I dont think there was any bikes in this set either. If anyone might have it, I would deffinitly go to www.walthers.com It seems they have an connection to almost everything! Good Idea & good luck!

The Woodland Scenics motorcycles are unpainted cast metal with so much flash it would take forever to clean it up, and you would be hard pressed to not break it in the process. I bought the Poppa Wheelie buidling kit thinking the motorcycles would be pre-painted and assembled, but after seeing what you get I didn't even try to put them together. Priesser makes some plastic motorcycles, but they would probably be German (or European) style and not really close to being a hog.

Presier make a ton of people figures some bikes & cycles.

I just bot a $19.00,six people bike set off e-bay for a total of Nine bucks and it's the best set
out of 240 people I have.

Look at ebay.com Click on Toys & Hobbies, click on Model RR trains, click on HO,
then track, scenery & accessories, under current, going today & going, going gone
to get an idea.

Preiser also has some listed in the Walther's catalog.

Don't know if 1947 era bikes are what you want, but have you looked at JL Innovative Design's Web site. Their URL is: <http://jlinnovative.com>. I believe there are also some motorcycles in the Preisser line in the Walthers catalogue.
Of course you could always buy a hog from Dyna Models, paint it something other than pink or white and put wheels on it - LOL. Good luck, personally I like my brother's BMW. Bob

H0 motorcycles
Posted by Anonymous on Tuesday, September 2, 2003 6:05 AM
For my H0 layout I've been looking around for motorcycles, preferably a Harley Davidson fitting in the 50's or 60's.

Since I haven't been able to find any, I'm wondering if they exist at all!

Does anyone know where to find them?
