There was a thread on this over on the N Scale Atlas Forum. Seems the first run of Intermountain tunnel motors have some problems.

I have two Intermountain tunnel motors but one just runs so poorly that I am considering replacing them with the new Atlas when they come out. Is there a website that anyone knows of for fine tunning and troubleshooting. I have the Kalmback book on maintaing but its not very thorough.
