malibu international repaints
Posted by Anonymous on Thursday, June 15, 2006 9:41 PM
here is the straight skinny boys
I have repainted a bunch of th e malibu int'l cars from walmart....
heres how...i idid a bunch of 56 chevys
firts the bumper can be removed...no glue...just carefully pull it out with your fingernails..be careful to apply pressure straight ahead...if you torque it you will break it...but easily reglue if you do....after the bumpers are off...lightly(i used a drill press) drill out the head of the two rivets holding the body on
doesn't take much...remove the bottom of the chassis....the windo plastic unit is held to the roof by a small rivet like flange...VERY carefull touch the drill bit to it and you will remove the flange...be careful...too much pressure and you'll leave a bump on the roof...then lifet out th glass and paint
