You must have been dreaming, time to wake up and face reality.

Ya, I'm still seeing these D@*% popups too. Hey Andy, can't you do something about this. You can't enjoy yourself on the forum because your constantly being bombarded by these things. If something isn't done soon to stop this, there won't be a forum because no one will come. PLEEEEEZZZZZZ, stop the popup itus, NOW...

So far saw just 1 today. Seems their frequency is a lot less, maybe now only once per login. If true, that's still a big improvement.

I read complaints about pop-ups and that makes me smile.........I agree that pop-ups are annoying, especially when they appear here and there all the time, which is common on most websites. On this forum however,I've only seen pop-ups on log-in and a simple click takes care of it,not so bad I think, considering the forum is FREE.
What makes me smile is that myself and many other modelers regularly pay for magazines which are litterally crowded with advertising and nobody seems to mind, accepting that advertising pays for these services.Funny isn't it?

Please keep an eye on it and see how many you actually receive in the forums per day. You're only supposed to receive one pop-up per 8 hours, per section. So, in the forums, you're only supposed to receive one per eight hours. If you go around the site through the various sections, you will receive more.

I would hardly say we're "bombarding" viewers with pop-ups. Rather, we deliver targeted products on a reasonable basis. When I say targeted, I mean that our pop-ups are only associated with the topic of our site. We don't run ads for mortgages, X-10 wireless cameras, etc.

I see a big reduction in popup frequency. Every 8 hours per section is just fine, this IS a free forum. The aggravation is a popup every 2 minutes, that seems to have been nicely eliminated. Thanks again!
