Bob, I just sent you an email. I do model only HO but my stuff is very modern but with your permission, I would live to bring up my favorite engine.

The rain gutter's only on the trackside gutterboard of the yard tower, for better visibility out the windows where needed?

Nice touch.

Well, now I want my subway station to be up to that level of craftsmanship. Thanks, Bob, for the inspiration.

Jsmaye:

The WP caboose was built from an American Model Builder's (laser) kit. I painted and lettered it to match my RR Theme using Micro-Scale decals. Marker lights were added using colored lenses. All grabs were "scratched" from wire, except for the side "curved" ones. Those are from Detail Associates #6503.

Bob...

Hey Bob,

Do you ever let visitors stop by to see your layout? I live in Los Angeles and would love to drive up and spend some time picking your brain about your view of the hobby and get any pointers that I can.

Bob, I am really beginning to understand how the ink wash just adds that final touch. Thanks again for posting.

In the now locked and fading thread, some suggested that your model is a "model of a model" due to the influence of Selios et al. Yes the influence is clear, but you seemed to have captured a more reaslistic look compared to more of a charicature effect.
