Mike,

If you check out your Tsunami directions (back page that came with my decoder) on the topic "Programming and Reading CV," this will probably explain whats going on.

Sometimes there is an incompatibility reading CV data and programming changes due to the electrical requirements of the decoder's added audio circuitry.

It's a known fact with the Digitrax crowd that a Soundtraxx PTB-100 (P.N. 829002) will amplify the programming track signals to the levels that will work best with a Tsunami decoder. I have to get one, since I cannot change certain CVs on my Tsunami using a DB150 with a 400T either.

Yahoo has a fairly lively Digitrax forum where alot of good stuff about Digitrax issues with different decoders are aired.

HTH & Happy Railroading,
