Here are some pics from our recent trip to The Filmore Railroad Museum, located in Filmore, Ca. (Just north of Simi Valley). Besides the static displays, the museum offers a scenic train ride between the cities of Filmore and Santa Paula, Ca. The trip takes about 1 hour each way, but the scenery you see lasts a life-time!
A tribute to the museum's founder.
Yours truely along along with my favorite nephew / Godchild (Mathew). Only 3 years old, and already hooked on trains!. My kind of kid!!!!
A shot of some of the operating equipment owned by the Mueseum.
A geep pulls up ready to couple onto our train.
Inside the Dinning Car.
On the move!
Have Fun.... Bob.
