I sent my DPB video tape back. It was the lamest one yet and surely not worth the big bucks they are asking for it. [V]
I'd rather spend the money at my LHS!

I was very pleased with the content of Dream Plan Build Volume 3 and June's MRR magazine.

They contained the right balance throughout of different types of layouts. From small->large, from N to G, and from steam to diesel, from out of the box collector layouts, to marvelously detailed scratch built MRRs.

Also showing the turtle creek in action just proves how fun a small starter layout can be.

It's also nice to see a little more emphasis on the medium sized MRR's. Since most of us don't have a basement empire, it's a bit of a tease. With all those huge layouts, it's akin to a little kid with a nickle in his pocket staring in at a candy store.

BTW: Bergie: Nice to finally have a face with the name.
