Hi Hub,

That sound strange. I have not heard of that happening before. My just is that it is either a problem with Chucks CAB-1 or your Amtrak. One is either transmitting a wider signal or receiving one.

You may want to try some other combinations of CAB-1s with your Amtrak or other engines with Chuck's CAB-1 to see if you can isolate the problem.

Then you may want to e-mail the Lionel Techs and see if they cane fix it.

all of our engine's have different # numbers,my amtrak is # 4, chuck,was running a lash-up of two engines,when chuck would press his horn button,he would also blow the horn on my amtrak,they are running on two (2 ) different mains,even with my engine on other end of layout this still happen's,but same doesnt work with my hand-held,i only blow my engine's horn,chcuk maybe needs new hand-held,and yes he has new batteries////??????======hub
