It is basically a shadow box made from 1”x 2”s with a felt bottom. You lay the car in the box with the side you are decaling facing up. Along the left side of the box there is a strip of styrene sticking up about 1/8” that you use to butt a drafting triangle against. The draft triangle can be slid up or down to offer a straight edge to align the decal with.

Chappy's Stripemaster

Was looking back through the Jan. 2006 issue of MR, specifically the article titled "10 Steps to Great Looking Passenger Cars." In that article, on page 61, there is an editorial insertion that states "you can also make and use the decal application jig called 'Chappy's Stripemaster' that was shown in the March 2002 MR on page 62."

Are any of you familiar with or do any of you use "Chappy's Stripemaster"? If so, could you describe it and its use to me? Unfortunately, I do not have the March 2002 MR, so I cannot check out the issue for myself.

Thanks in advance for your help.
Lawrence, The Pennsy Hoosier
