Finding Photos from a specific era

Being inspired by a previous post I decided to go into Railpictures.net and sort photos by date. The narrowest you can sort to is by year and it's only locomotives (and whatever cars you can see in the photo) but it was still pretty interesting. You are able to see which paint schemes were current for that year on various RR and what types of locos were being photographed. This would be a fantastic tool if expanded to all rail photos and if it could be narrowed down to a specific month.
