Looking for non-standard wheel sets N scale
Posted by Anonymous on Saturday, February 11, 2006 8:34 PM
I am updating some old rolling stock I got off of eBay last year and one of them, a nice looking, cast metal drop center flat car by Arnold. The trucks are cast metal, the three axles each sit in notch's and are held in place by a clip. Micro-Trains and Atlas wheel sets are to short, these axles are 0.600 inches in length by my caliper. Does anyone know of a source?

The couplers will be easy to change but unless I can get some lo-profile wheels on this thing it will be sitting on the sidelines. I can't deal with the clatter of pizza cutters on Code 55.
