Oh wait, I seen this before. What I'm doing is a Dash 8-40. Sorry for not clearifing. The FA is not Fiction. BN did get them in the merger of GN & SP&S. They just didn't make the cascade green paint scheme. # 4118 the BN # former GN # 442D

I know the FAs made the roster I was refering to the ficticious paint scheme. and as for the Dash 8s, I get your drift.

These are Athearn painted shells. All I did was add detail and a better drive.

No problem. As you have already checked by now, It looks like there was only three of them and they didn't last to long. I wouldn't be suprised if they were early demonstrator versions given the length of time on the roster.

Ok, Like I said before, I'm new at this posting pics thing so it may not be as clear as the people who know what they are doing.

1st up. We have the freelanced FA & FB (EX GN #442D )
note: this is what they may have looked like if they made it the cascade green scheme. The road numbers are prototype, I didn't take pics of the B unit becuase It's not finished yet . The A is 95% finished.

2nd. We have the F3's. Since nobody did these in HO for BN or made a poor looking/running one (COX), Kato did them in N scale, but the numbers are for the F7. (LOOK IT UP # 710) I wanted to make my own. Again, the road numbers are prototype and also not finished (ran out of decals)
The B unit sideframe isn't missing, it's been painted and have been put back on yet

The FA's & F3's has been Sprayed Painted (Krylon). That's how I paint my locos and Ect. I'm not in Air brushing buisness. (Not bad for a spray paint job - Ha) I think I got spay painting mastered to the T. These models are Proto 1 & 2000.

Last but not least. BN-1 & BN-2 (Athearn shells, Proto 1000 F UNIT drive)
They (Athearn) say it's a F7, BUT the BN-1 & 2 were F9'S. All I have to do to make them correct is add a different vent on the roof. I plan to get it form Bachmann (First Line) F9. They are the only one's who put the square vent on the roof to make their F9 look like a F9. Others, you really can't tell the difference between a F7 & F9. That square vent makes the difference.

And ther you have it. This is not even a smear of my BN COLLECTION. Other's are comming soon. Look for the E7, E9, C425, 424, Most of BN geeps and the NOTORIOUS DASH 8 IN CASCADE GREEN. (FANTASY) i'M ALSO WORKING ON BNSF SHARKS

Penny for you thoughts.......................................
