I called in sick 7 months ago and have used the time to finally make a start on my layout! [;)]

Of course, it IS a genuine case of being sick seeing as I need an operation but, hey, I may as well put the time to SOME use!

I work for the taxpayers...so I take off anytime I want! Really this job has ruined me, I've never had such an easy place to take off days. I can call 5 minutes before work and take a vacation or sick day, my choice.

I have taken off to play with my trains, or to play a new game, or for vision problem (just can't see myself going in to work)

I am saving some vacation days for March (Got to go to Orlando and see the Mouse)

Guy-gargle with Listerine "Cool Mint" and IMMEDIATELY call your boss. It'll sound like you've got Bronchitis, and you can have the whole day off to work on the MR to your heart's content.
NOBODY wants to have anyone come to work with Bronchitis during the winter!
Have fun.
