DCC in a Spectrum HO EMD SD45?

Hello again all,
I have a Spectrum HO EMD SD45.
I want to install one of my spare decoders in.
I took the shell off and to my supprise the only wire I could see was the ones running to the lights. the Frame works a conductor for leads to the motor (each side seems to separated by insulators).
The wheels pickup the power, then there is a spring clip type that send the power up to the framework.
Any idea where to start to install a decoder in one of these?
