My railroad club has a large collection of used railroad related ,prototype and model, magazines to go. Some 60s lots of 70s 80s and 90s. If we cannot sell them they will go in the trash. They must be gone by the end of the year. Is there any interest? Think about whole years. Ben

Hello Nathan (last name?). I don't know, we have way too much to go looking for a certain story. Give me the year and the name of the magazine, and if we have a complete year thats the way we will sell it. Ben

It was about Fall 1969, TRAINS magazine, an article on Grand Central Station in Chicago. If you can dig up a copy, I'd be interested in purchasing it.

Heck, I'll buy the whole 1969 bunch, as long as it has the issue I'm looking for..

My advice is to try to sell whole years together rather than let someone cherry pick. And my advice to younger modelers is to think about extending your collection of favorite magazines backwards, year by year. I started getting Model Railroader in 1965 but have acquired all issues back to 1950, with isolated issues before then. There are lots of worthwhile plans and articles in those issues.

Hi,
I believe in the late 1980s or early 1990s Trains mag.did a story about KCC also called Kennecott Copper Corp. If you can find that story I might buy the whole year.
Thanks,
Nathan David

Ok, I found the exact date for the Kennecott stories I was looking for. Can you tell me if you have the March 1974 Trains mag. and the 1989 Trains mag. If you do I would like to buy them.
Thanks,
Nathan

Whole years, I'm thinking whole decades! I just have two questions, where are you located, and what magazines do you have? I am interested in the model oriented stuff before 1979 and after 1985. Need to check my library to be more specific than that. I'm hoping that you are located close, as shipping all that paper can get pricey! Thanks, Morpar.
Good Luck, Morpar
