A big thanks Nigel!

Before I ordered this I headed out to one of my local distributors, Princess Auto. They sell a lot of stuff that when they run out you might not see it again. Anyway in I went and guess what! Same geared motor same price but in Cdn $$$. Picked it up and spent an hour installing it.

Slow, powerful and noisy (who cares). It works and works very well. Have a Digitrax decoder installed and it works perfectly!

Nigel many thanks

Fergie

PROBABLY the best one is the HANKSCRAFT. It's a 6v. geared motor with a 1K fixed resistor (or more) to run on 12v. and control speed. They are $18 -$24, designed for revolving showcases, and used by some of the top modeler's for turnout control.

Cheap they aren't, but how many turntables are you going to have - and how reliable do you want them ?
