I model the V&T as if it still existed in the late 50's early 60's. I have an IHC M-4 that I am in the process of lettering as V&T 28. I am also planning on painting several diesels as V&T locomotives. I was going to use a pair of Athearn SD-9s that i got from a friend but am having second thoughts. Maybe some light baldwins or Alcos, but with prom coming up my financial resources are just about tapped out. I am also operating on the premise that their was a major ore strike and the V&T upgraded the line to haul the ore out of mound house, through Carson and on up to Reno.

I'm a freelanch modeler. I model the 1870's. I depend on the V&T for insperation as they got stuck in time due to their sudden decline of revenue in the early 1880's. I never have enough information on how theeir trains were operated.

Hope to be talking to you.
