IIRC Pete Waterman also has a pretty extensive collection of full-size trains, including engines and coaches.

 

Peter Waterman is also a railway modeler I have seen an article in Railway Modeler on how he used perspex to build UK "O" Scale 7mm to the foot terraced houses for his layout.

Then there is Hornby's "Peter Waterman Collection".

James May of Top Gear is also a major foamer, he has done at least 3 shows of his Top Toys/Toy Stories series on model trains, I still think this one is by far the best one:

That is good. It's nice to get a glimpse of the British side of this hobby: alive and well, and not needing much help from us colonials...
